‘To Travel is to Live’ ~ Hans Christian Anderson
National Geographic has called it ‘the most biologically intense place on earth”. The Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica makes up just .001 percent of our planet’s land surface, but it is estimated that 5 percent of all life on Earth can be found here.
It is here that we invite you to ‘Finding Peace in Paradise’, an exclusively curated experience immersed in raw beauty and natural wonder.
Jan 23rd to Jan 29th 2026, amidst a symphony of colorful birds, mammals, reptiles and plants, you will reconnect with the wonders of nature. Guided naturalist walks will reveal scarlet macaws, toucans and hummingbirds, along with playful monkeys and everyone’s favorite rainforest ambassador, the three-toed sloth.
‘Finding Peace in Paradise’ includes a guided adventure in ‘the Amazon of Costa Rica’ : Corcovado National Park, home to a breathtaking array of wildlife species. We will also spot dolphins and sea turtles on our boat ride to Cano Island, and enjoy snorkeling in the crystal clear waters amongst countless species of colorful fish.
Our gorgeous cabins at La Paloma Lodge are a short walk to a private beach. Delicious organic meals are included, offering the best of local fare.
This spectacular wilderness retreat in Costa Rica has been curated for photographers, non-photographers, nature lovers, and those seeking soulful connection.
After several trips to Costa Rica, I’m honored to co-host “Finding Peace in Paradise’ with retreat host Debbie Draves Legg, (www.eponicity.com), who currently lives in Costa Rica and has a wealth of experience curating the finest wilderness adventures.
