Two years ago, Tuscan veterinarian Dr Agnese Santi reached out to me, to chat about the wild horses of Tuscany~ magnificent horses that live wild and free in the Calvana Mountains. Agnese felt it was time to introduce these wild horses to the world, and I couldn't agree more!
Two years in the making, we're excited to announce the details for 'Find Wild Horses, Find Yourself' Italy 2026: The Wonders and Wild Horses of Tuscany!
Born in Tuscany, Agnese adores these wild spirits~ and created an organization dedicated to their protection. With Agnese as our guide, this is a rare opportunity to experience the wild horses of Tuscany firsthand!
And of course you can't travel to Tuscany without discovering the historic cities of Florence and Lucca, renowned for the world's finest art, architecture, and cuisine.
Together with my wonderful retreat partner/ respected equine therapy coach Eponicity - Deborah Draves Legg, we've curated a trip that brings together the best of both worlds: beautiful accommodation and guided tours of Florence and Lucca, then onward to an authentic Tuscan farm with comfortable lodging and delicious cuisine. This will be our home base for the wild horse adventures!
